The quality of local governance is directly related to the performance of gross root level Panchayat functionaries. Therefore in order to develop the capacity of local leadership, you can be a change agent, by becoming a NIRD& PR Certified Resource Person.   • Willingness to impart training as per their choice at State and District level.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to take up training assignments.
  • A minimum of five years of intensive experience working PR and RD.
  • Good training and facilitation skills.

The initial screening of the applicants will be done on the basis of age, qualification and previous experience. A four-day orientation cum selection process will be organized at the SIRDs or at Partner institutions. The candidates will be assessed on:

  • Content – the subject knowledge
  • Training Facilitation (actual execution of training)
  • Soft Skills

The candidates will have option to choose more than one thematic area. The list of 12 thematic areas are given in the annexure.[/accordion_son][accordion_son titlemargin=”10″ height=”” size=”18″ borderwidth=”1px 1px 1px 1px” title=”Training Facilitation & documentation Skills:” clr=”#eb621c” borderclr=”#eb621c” bodybg=”#ffffff” bgclr=”#c4c4c4″]The candidates have to facilitate a session on a given topic for about half an hour, where the expert assessors will observe the methodology, language, communication, and presentation skills.

These functionaries need to be trained on all aspects related to rural development, basic services, and functioning of local governments.
