It is a matter of great pleasure to announce that Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini is working as the Secretariat for Civil20 (C20) India 2023, amidst India holding the presidency of G20 2023. Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Founder of Amritanandamayi Math has kindly accepted to be the Chair of the C20 India 2023 with Sri M, Satsang Foundation and Vivekanand Kendra, Kanyakumari, as the other core group members.
This is an opportunity for India to disseminate the message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ in a global scenario of high uncertainty where one has to surmount national boundaries to concur on issues ranging from health to geopolitics at global level. For this endeavor it is critical to have good leadership that can provide practical resolutions and show the path ahead.
About Civil20
C20 is one of the official Engagement Groups of the G20. It provides a platform to Civil Society Organizations (CSO) around the world to voice people’s aspirations with the world’s leaders in G20. The logo of C20 India 2023 symbolizes the flame of hope, self-motivation and selfless service. The tagline is #YouAreTheLight which is a call to every member of the civil society to come together, make their own paths, find solutions and resolve issues through collective effort.
Many consultations, brainstorming sessions and events on issues related with the civil society will be organized in 2023 at different locations in India. The C20 Inception Conference is being planned for 21-22 March 2023 in Nagpur and the Summit on 30-31 July 2023 in Jaipur. Along with these two events, C20 India will organize meetings of Working Groups and compile policy papers and recommendations. C20 India will be focusing on 13 themes with the help of working groups.
We would like to invite civil society organisations of India and across the world to participate in C20 India 2023 activities in the coming months. For more details, inquiries and suggestions:
