During India’s presidency of G20, It was a great opportunity for us to have worked as the Secretariat for Civil20 (C20), an official Engagement Group of the G20. Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Founder of Amritanandamayi Math, graciously accepted the role of Chair of the C20 India 2023, with Sri M, Satsang Foundation, and Vivekanand Kendra, Kanyakumari, serving as core members.
This was an opportunity for India to disseminate the message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ in a global scenario of high uncertainty where one had to surmount national boundaries to concur on issues ranging from health to geopolitics at the global level. Good leadership that can provide practical resolutions and show the path ahead was critical for this endeavour.
