A ) C20 India 2023 Summit (2023-24)

C20 India 2023 Summit spanned three days of dynamic deliberations, featuring an impactful inaugural session organized in collaboration with the Government of India, Government of Rajasthan, and the United Nations. The summit comprised 16 working group breakout sessions, where participants conveyed the core of their policy recommendations. Additionally, C20 members from various G20 nations hosted four side events covering topics such as ’Making finance work for people’, ’Disability and justice’, ’Advocacy at Civil 20: Lessons learned’, and ’Cross Talk G20 engagement groups and the Sherpa Track’. The summit culminated in a joyful valedictory ceremony, which included the official handover of the leadership of C20 India to Brazil.

B) C20 India 2023 Inception Conference (2022-2023)

C20 India 2023 Inception Conference took place on March 20-21, 2023, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nagpur. This conference provided a platform to showcase the positive contributions of civil society organizations (CSOs) across various aspects of life and their role in societal development while upholding Indian culture and traditions. Attended by representatives from CSOs, notable social activists, scholars, policymakers, and government officials, the conference delved into significant issues concerning the role of CSOs in fostering a better society. It also offered an opportunity to present recent, ongoing, and proposed initiatives by CSOs aligned with the objectives of the Indian Presidency of the G20.

C) International Conference and Convention of Representatives of Ancient Cultures (2017-2018)

The sixth International Conference and Convention of Representatives of Ancient Cultures was organised at the Knowledge Excellence Centre (KEC) under the aegis of International Cultural Studies Centre (ICSC) from 1st to 4th February 2018. In all, 250 delegates from 32 countries representing 25 ancient cultures participated in the convention, wearing their traditional dress. International Cultural Studies Centre was established in 1997 to promote world peace and to nurture the close relationships between ethnic groups in Africa, Australia, Europe, North America, South America and South-East Asia. The convention was aimed at providing a common platform to various ancient cultures from all over the world. The central theme for this year was exploring divinity through the feminine form. Shri. Bhaiyyaji Joshi, General Secretary, RSS, and Shri. Dattatreya Hosabale, Joint General Secretary, RSS, along with intellectuals from various countries participated in the convention.

D) Participation of Shri. Ravindra Sathe in the 29th Annual Conference of CDU Congress, Essen, Germany (2016-2017)

The Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), a political foundation in Germany with global presence including India, organised a visit of a delegation of BJP functionaries to Germany to participate in the 29th Annual Conference of Christian Democratic Union (CDU) led by Dr. Angela Merkel. This delegation was led by BJP’s national spokesperson Shri. Nalin Kohli. Shri. Ravindra Sathe on behalf of RMP was also a part of this delegation. It was attended by 1,000 delegates. The primary objective of this visit was to engage all stakeholders in both countries to broaden and deepen further Indo-German economic, trade and cultural relationships.

E) Awami Party triennial conference, Dhaka, Bangladesh (2016-2017)

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe represented BJP at Bangladesh’s Awami Party’s triennial conference in Dhaka in 2016. He also met the PM, Sheikh Hasina and discussed strengthening India-Bangladesh cooperation and collaboration.

F) International Conference on Nuclear Weapon-Free World, Astana, Kazakhstan (2016-2017)

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe represented RMP and addressed the International Conference on ‘Building a Nuclear Weapon-Free World’ and spoke about India’s commitment to universal peace at Astana, Kazakhstan in 2016.

G) Conference on international cooperation (2011-2012)

RMP is officially affiliated to the UN as a consultative body. The UN celebrated 2012 as the Year of International Cooperation. On this occasion, RMP took the initiative of celebrating it in cooperation with Sahakar Bharati and Government of Madhya Pradesh. As a part of this initiative, a two-day international conference was organised in Bhopal, which was attended by 400 delegates including 52 from 18 countries abroad. The theme of the conference was ‘Social and Economic Change through Cooperation’.

H) International Conference on Women Empowerment, USA (2010-2011)

In 2010, UNESCO held an International Conference on Women Empowerment as a project under the Millennium Development Goals. RMP was one among the organisations selected to participate from 43 countries for this event. This high-level conference was inaugurated by Dr. Hamidon Ali, President of UNESCO and Malaysia’s Permanent Representative at the UN. The UN Secretary General provided guidance on the occasion.

I) Human rights: International seminar on reporting and tools for effective actions (2009-2010)

RMP in association with Netherlands-based Global Human Rights Defence organised an international seminar on reporting and tools for effective action about human rights. In all, 70 representatives from Bangladesh, Nepal and Netherlands attended the seminar. Discussions were conducted on important issues of developing network for human rights, training and capacity building. The guiding force for the discussions was provided by Shraddhanand Sital, President, Global Human Rights Defence; Nizad Bishambar, Shah Alam, Jenny Lundstorm and Adv. Ganesh Sovani, invitee, Human Rights Centre.

J) International Conference on Democracy, Toronto, Canada (2008-2009)

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe attended the International Conference on Democracy organised by Transformative Education Centre on behalf of RMP in Toronto, Canada. A paper was presented on the topic ‘Membership of national political parties’. He also travelled to Houston and Washington and met officials of India Development Relief Fund and Sewa International.

K) Asia Media Forum, Bangkok, Thailand (2008-2009)

Shri. Ravindra Sathe was among the 76 representatives from 11 Asian countries invited to attend an international conference on ‘Media in the times of crisis’ by Asia Media Forum in Bangkok in 2009.

L) Human Empowerment Conference, Los Angeles, USA (2006-2007)

Dr. Medha Naniwadekar, Member of Managing Committee and Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe attended the Human Empowerment Conference in Los Angeles, USA, to present papers on ‘Integrated feminism’ and ‘Reformation of Hindu thoughts’ respectively. Dr. Sahasrabuddhe was also invited to the UN Headquarters during this event.

M) First international conference and gathering of the elders (2002- 2003)

The first international conference and gathering of the elders called Mitakuye Oyasin (We all are related) representing diverse ancient cultures and customs was held at a training complex between February 4th and 9th, 2003. It was jointly organised by RMP; International Council of Cultural Studies (ICCS), Nagpur; and Vishwa Adhyayana Kendra, Mumbai and was attended by 196 delegates from 23 nations. Besides academic, research and concept sessions, modes of worship of different cultures were presented, along with discussion on Yoga and Vipassana. Shri. Jual Oram, Tribal Development Minister, Government of India, inaugurated the conference.

N) International training session on education, Israel (2002-2003)

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, the then Director-General of RMP, was nominated for an international training session on implementation of educational projects held in Israel where he presented on the Indian education system.

O) International Water Conference, Kyoto, Japan (2002-2003)

RMP was represented by Shri. Neelesh Kulkarni, Convener of RMP’s study group on water, at the International Water Conference held in Kyoto in Japan.

P) Ballast Water, Beijing, China (2002-2003)

A workshop on the issue of ballast water was held in Beijing, China, under an international project. Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Director, Research Division, RMP, was present at this event.

Q) International Seminar on Leadership, Istanbul, Turkey (2001-2002)

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe was one of the two delegates from India to be invited to attend the International Seminar on Leadership at Bagche Shaar University, Istanbul in Turkey.

R) Salzburg Seminar, Austria (2001-2002)

Dr. Vinay Sahasarabuddhe, the then Director General of RMP was invited to attend the Salzburg Seminar on ‘Nurturing democracy in modern world’ in June 2001 in Salzburg, Austria. RMP was one of the two organizations to represent India at this event. In September, among the 24 delegates from all over the world, he was the only Indian delegate invited to attend a training workshop on ‘Local and social leadership’ jointly organised by Salzburg Seminar and Fetzer Foundation.

S) Globalisation and Labour Laws, Israel (2001-2002)

Eminent lawyer and Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh activist, Shri. Suhas Jape represented RMP at a seminar on Globalisation and Labour Laws. The Government of Israel also selected him for a month’s training program under the MASHAV collaboration between India and Israel.
